The
Visit Wales welcomed BMI British Midland’s decision
to operate bmibaby – its budget carrier - from Cardiff
International Airport.
As a key partner in the negotiations to
encourage bmibaby to open a new base at Cardiff International
Airport, the Board was pleased to see that months of hard work
behind the scenes by public and private sector partners in support
of the Airport’s management team, has secured an important
low cost gateway into Wales from continental Europe.
Destinations,
to date, available into Cardiff are:
Glasgow, Edinburgh, Belfast International, Jersey, Geneva,
Milan, Alicante, Malaga and Faro.
